BUD Fund
Every non-listed company in Hong Kong can develop brands, upgrade and transform, and expand marketing projects in the mainland and free trade agreement markets.
Apply for up to 50% of the subsidy, no more than 1 million Hong Kong dollars each time, enterprises can receive a total of 60 projects, and the cumulative funding limit is 6 million Hong Kong dollars.

Application requirements:

Any projects that help individual Hong Kong enterprises to develop their brands, upgrade and transform or expand in the Mainland, free trade agreements or investment agreements can apply for funding.

Funding is provided on a reciprocal basis, that is, the government will subsidise up to 50% of the total approved expenditure of an individual project, and enterprises must bear no less than 50% of the total approved expenditure of the project in cash.

Each funded project must be completed within not more than 24 months.

All unlisted companies registered in Hong Kong under the Business Registration Ordinance (Cap. 310) and having substantial business operations in Hong Kong are eligible to apply for funding. Regardless of whether they are engaged in manufacturing or service industries, or whether they already have business operations in the Mainland, free trade agreement or investment agreement economies, they are eligible to apply for funding.

BUD funding amount:
The government can subsidize up to 50% of the total approved expenditure of the project, and the enterprise must bear no less than 50% of the total approved expenditure of the project in cash. During the application period of the fund, each enterprise can receive a total of 60 approved projects and Up to 6 million yuan

Funding scope:
Any projects that help individual Hong Kong enterprises to develop their brands (branding), upgrade and transform (Upgrading) and/or expand the Chinese mainland (Domestic sales) and free trade agreements (including ASEAN) markets can apply for funding
